Our men, women in uniform
Careerlook Inc. of Overland Park is helping employees at Sprint
PCS look successful.
And for that, they've been recognized. Careerlook and Sprint PCS
received the Image of the Year Award from The Career Apparel Institute.
Careerlook has designed a private-label apparel program (translation:
uniforms) for Sprint PCS employees that ranges from casual to dressy
-- woven tops, polo shirts, pants, sweater vests and V-neck sweaters.
For the employee who wants to look his or her best (or suck up
to management), Careerlook offers jackets for men and women with
matching men's pants and women's skirts. And the collection wouldn't
be complete without coordinating men's ties and shirts, and women's
scarves and blouses.
Susan Kopperman, president and owner of Careerlook and a self-described
"people decorator," worked the company's color scheme
(red, black, white and gray) into the designs. She said about 6,000
employees who work for Sprint PCS selling phones in retail locations
wear the uniforms.
The award recognizes the top 10 career apparel programs in the
nation.
